Why Are You Crying

Mew: Boy?
.... Boy? Why are you crying?
MewTwo: ....*looks down, not realizing that he had been crying* I can’t........ remember.... *wipes away some tears*
Mew: ... Not much sense in crying if you can’t remember why you started.
MewTwo: *looks down, ashamed*
Mew: Don’t worry, things will get better, you’ll see.... *fades away(although faster then Amber did)*
MewTwo: Wait! Where are you going?
Mew: Don’t worry! We’ll meet again I’m sure. I won’t be gone forever... *starting to leave*
MewTwo: Wait! What’s your name?!
Mew: *giggles* Mew!
MewTwo: *confused* Mew? ...

I drew this after watching the prologue of the First Pok’emon movie that was cut from the 4Kids American version for being to sinister. It was part of the Japanese version and never made it in America, but when they released the DVD of MewTwo Returns, and the First Pok’emon movie, they showed it as one of the special features dubbed in English. Also in the Japanese version MewTwo gets angry because he was created by man, and not God.

Anyway, after I watched this, I felt so sad for MewTwo, that it couldn’t hurt to give him comfort after AmberTwo “dies” And since in the American version at the beginning it showed MewTwo having brief visions of Mew, I wondered if Mew was communicating telepathically with MewTwo as well, if only for short flashes and spurts.
So after the scientists make MewTwo forget.... he is lost in darkness, until he hears a voice. And that’s where the conversation him and Mew have, for the first time.

After watching this, I made a silent agreement to myself to pretend that the “AmberTwo” segment was part of the movie and always was. Because without this segment most of the movie doesn’t make sense at the end. Although, I still remember at one point of the movie one of the lesser characters says, *I think the one with blue hair* (before Ash even MEETS MewTwo) that there was a legend of Pok’emon tears that brought someone back to life.
Also WITH this segment it makes more sense when MewTwo says: “Was everything before just a dream?”
Also MewTwo’s coming into the world is very sad. He losses his only friend in the whole world, with no one to comfort him and in order for him to live, he must forget about her. And he finds out he was a clone created in a lab, then his powers are used for evil purposes. Talk about a bad childhood. XP
