Fanart for 's Black Wedlocke. I wanted to make this before the fanart special came out.

Chickadee and Turkey quickly became one of my favorite pairs. This song from Steven Universe just seemed to fit them. I always imagined Turkey as a kindhearted Pokemon who really loved Chickadee. Chickadee, while normally cheerful, was having trouble adjusting after Aquilavus died, and she wasn't quite willing to accept a bag of garbage as her replacement. She warmed up to him eventually, by how useful and devoted he was to protect her in the E4. Chickadee thought that was very sweet of him.

I mean, seriously, in that last battle, Chickadee went total bro-mode. If that isn't love, I don't know what is.
