This flashback in partly in relation to my fanbased mind, and based on actual facts about Hidan. You can look some of the facts about his abilities and background up right here: [link]
Look under: BACKGROUND at the beginning. Read that. Scroll down till you get to "ABILITIES" Then read the "Immortality" section. Mostly what I put in Hidan's flashback is true.
The only problem is......... I forgot he killed his neighbors BEFORE joining the Jashin faith. I'M SUCH AN IDIOT! HE WOULD OF BEEN OLDER BY THEN!
I should of researched him more before making this comic... But I forgot =_=;

JUST PRETEND HE KILLS HIS NEIGHBORS AFTERWARDS OKAYS?! DX Just for the sake of the story... Please? With sugar on top?

Anyway... I didn't show Hidan's Sensei's face for two reasons.
#1: I want fans to guess on their own!
#2: The fact that his face isn't showing in the flashback is that probably Hidan didn't have a close relation with him. He calls him "Sensei" but he also calls him "Old man" sometimes too, which shows back then, he didn't really respect authority figures that much. He was probably forced to call him "Sensei" around the other teachers, or monks or whatevers, but he didn't respect him. I'm sure deep down he did, for his knowledge of Jashin, but on the surface, I don't think he did.
Also. The fact that his face isn't showing also show's that Hidan doesn't even remember himself what his sensei looked like.

I had fun inventing a flashback for Hidan.... I should do it again some time... But...
Nahh.

BTW: Hidan's having a little self-pity party a bit, isn't he? 8D
Don't worry... He's not gonna kill himself........ I might like sad stories... but not THAT sad! Geez =_=;
